Crock Pot Chicken-n-Dumplings


While I am enjoying our surprise snow day in MARCH, I am wishing I had saved this recipe for today instead of this past weekend.  It is such a warm, simple, cozy meal! 
Crock Pot Chicken-n-Dumplings
4-6 Chicken Breasts
1 tablespoon butter
2 cans cream of chicken
1-2 cans of chicken broth
1/2 diced onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 grands flaky pillsbury biscuits
ImagePlace everything in the crock pot except for the biscuits and cook on high for 4-6 hours.  After this time, I added my second can of Chicken Broth because it was a bit too thick but that is your preference.

After 4-6 hours, cut 4 biscuits into 9 pieces.  Drop the pieces into the crock pot and cook for an additional 30-45 minutes.

And the final product :) I take a dumpling out to check and make sure it isn’t too doughy before eating.

Yum! So easy and definitely wishing I had some right about now!
